About us

The Lambay Singers was established in Donabate in 1998, we are an SSAA chamber choir, under the direction of Áine Cassidy and are based in Swords, Co Dublin.  We rehearse on Thursday nights.

In recent years,  the choir has gone  from strength to strength.  We performed in June 2019 in Christchurch Cathedral with Michael McGlynn and a number of American Choirs.  In October 2019, we embarked on our first overseas trip to Vienna, collaborating with Salto Vocale Choir.  We rounded off the year with a performance in Dublin Castle and our annual Carols  in Dublin Airport. 

The past couple of years have been difficult for all choirs but we kept going - rehearsing on zoom until we were allowed come back in person again. We finished off the 2022 Summer term with a concert in the Airport Church,  and a performance in Trinity College Chapel where we teamed up with the Credo Community Choir from Dallas.

Our repertoire is ever changing and eclectic. We work hard in rehearsals and strive for excellence and  our choir has an active social side.  We will be holding auditions in late August and always love to welcome new members.
